Land of Nod Pillows!

I love the shop "Land of Nod"! Even better than it's more preppy counterpart "PBkids!"
They always seem to be so up to date with the color and pattern trends! I especially love their new line of accent pillows!
So far I have found the right pillows for 2/3's of my children. Still waitng on a sport or football themed pillow for my oldest guy!

My 6yr. old has a new love of pirates, and with his bedroom already nautical themed, these pillows went perfectly!
-The "Anchor's Away" throw pillow was $16
-The "Yo Ho" throw pillow was $19

For my daughter's room, these mustard yellow felt flower pillows enhanced the colors in her room so much more!
-The two "Yellow Bedding Bouquet" pillows were each $24

Yayy for fun finds!
Thanks,

Sarah

Small Space Kitchen!

In a dream or distant future, I may have a big open kitchen. With cathedral ceilings and all the storage imaginable. Until then I will have to make use of the space I have. Although, still a work in progress as new ideas come to light...

This is what I have come up with so far...

Shelves to replace the old shabby cabinets.
Still waiting on the hubby to put in a second shelf over the existing one.
My farmhouse sink (from Ikea) gives me plenty of space for dirty dishes... With three kids there are plenty of those!
Chalkboard paint anywhere I can fit it for little reminders.
Platter rack built by my loving husband.
Hanging pots, to take away from bending over, and making too much noise searching under cabinets.
With a little imagination there is a lot you can do with small spaces!
Thanks!

Plate Wall Completion!

After a few different tries, I've finally got the look I want for my plate wall...
 and I'm a very pleased!

Originally, I started out with an assortment of colorful plates that I collected over time. Although I loved my colorful plates, they just didn't seem right to me! I much prefer the look of the different shades of white, grey and blue much better!
I love the mix of the vintage style, the more affordable style from Target, and the less affordable style from Anthropologie!

Hope ya like!

The Finishing Touches!

For a little girl's room...

So, my daughter is now a year and a half and I've finally tackled the changing table curtain! It has been something I've wanted to finish when we moved here in the summer, that didn't happen. Then I figured I'd get it done when the boys went back to school, that didn't happen either! It didn't happen before the holidays, or the break! But I can finally say I got it done! :)
Here are a few pictures of my little Chloe's room...
Her bed...
Dresser...
Hand-crafted sailboat from her auntie...
Picture wall... In my "dream world" i'd like to make room for another little girl! ;)
Her coming home dress...
Now for the curtain...
I am happy with it and I think she is too!

Thanks,
Sarah
